ANAS Central Botanic Garden to be cooperate with the Batumi botanical garden

Director of Georgia Batumi Botanical Garden Irakli Archaye, Deputy Finance Director of this structure Levan Abkhazova and Coordinator for International Relations Zurab Maivelidze visited ANAS Central Botanical Garden.

At the meeting with the Director of the garden, PhD. in Biology Vahid Farzaliyev was given information about the directions, prospects for the development of scientific research of this institution, ongoing work on replenishing the living collection and training the personnel.

At the meeting was signed a memorandum of cooperation between two structures. According to the memorandum, provided period of 5 years, will be conducted joint research between the parties in the field of plant resources, horticulture and reproduction, exchanges of experience and personnel, as well as joint projects and expeditions.
