A joint meeting of Supervisory and Expert Council of High Technologies Park of ANAS
On July 18 was held a joint meeting of Supervisory and Expert Council of High Technologies Park of ANAS at the Presidium of ANAS.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board, President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, members of the council - Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev, Head of the Department of Science and Education of the Presidium's Office, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov and Head of the Department of Affairs of ANAS, Doctor of Political Sciences Fatali Abdullayev attended the meeting. Chairman of the Expert Council, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, members of the Council - Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, Representative of the Military Academy of Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PhD in Technology Elshan Hashimov, Representative of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, head of the Heavy Industry and Machinery Industry Sector of the Industry Department Yagub Hasanov also participated there.
Recalling the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated November 8, 2016 on the establishment of the High Technologies Park of ANAS, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Academician Akif Alizadeh spoke about state support aimed at creating modern complexes for expanding the sphere of innovation and high technologies, And the development of new technologies. Head of the Academy characterized the council as the body that controls the activities of the executive body of the company within its authority, and described its goals and tasks. Speaking about the activities of the Park of High Technologies, Academician Akif Alizade highly appreciated the meetings and projects carried out in the park, underscored their positive impact on the application of research results, inventions, innovative projects and proposals of Azerbaijani scientists in production.
Chairman of the Expert Council, academician Ibrahim Guliyev noted that the council had been set up in a high-tech park to assess and prepare a corresponding response to projects in the field of innovations or high technologies submitted by applicants applying for registration as a resident, preparing proposals for studying and Application of achievements and best practices in the field of project development.
Speaking at a joint meeting of the Supervisory and Expert Council on projects implemented in the park, the director of "High Technology Park of ANAS", Ph.D. in agrarian sciences Vugar Babayev emphasized that finished products have already been received. He noted that there are potential residents who will carry out their activities on the territory of the High Technologies Park: "After receiving the resident's certificate, the pilot plant, being an equal institution, like other business entities, will carry out its activities on the basis of a number of preferential terms, Which will lead to a reduction in the cost of the products produced here and to expand our export capabilities under the brand "Made in Azerbaijan". In addition to the pilot plant, we have a number of potential residents who will carry out their activities after obtaining an appropriate certificate".
