Institute of Genetic Resources held a meeting with FAO’s expert

Director of the Institute of Genetic Resources, corresponding member of ANAS Zeynal Akparov met with expert of UN Food and Agriculture Organization, Department of Plant Genetic Resources and Seed-growing, Protection – Wilson Hugo.

The meeting has discussed the opportunities of cooperation enhancing between two organizations.

FAO’s expert got familiar with activities of the institute and storage technologies of seeds at the National Gene bank.

Note that, the guest visited to our country within the technical assist project “ Support to the development of the seed industry in Azerbaijan” jointly implemented by Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and FAO.
