VI Republican Competition “Scientists of future” completed

Co-organized by Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, AR Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Heydar Aliyev Cente, Knowledge Foundation under President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as Republican Committee of Azerbaijani Education Workers Free Trade Union ”Intel" Company, VI Republican Competition “Scientists of future” has completed.

The main objective of the competition is to give students the opportunity to demonstrate their scientific achievements, define nominees of the participants to attend the annual Intel ISEF International Science and Engineering Fair in the USA.

On February 17, at the event devoted to the final of competition, Deputy of Education Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made speech on the role of science and education in progress of society.

"Scientists of Future" competition was attended by IX-XII grade students of the country's 13 cities and regions with 125 research projects. 77 of them are collectively, 48 of the individual projects. The winners of eight categories were determined by a jury, said Deputy Minister.

The participants congratulated the winners and wished them successes.

In the end, diplomas, medals and prize money were presented to the winners.
