Foundation of Russian Literature presented at the Central Scientific Library

Pearls from the Foundation of Russian Literature were presented at the Central Scientific Library (CSL) of ANAS.

Speaking at the presentation chief of CSL Library-Services Department Aygun Safrova spoke of acquisition and cataloging of library books on Russian literature, and gave detailed information about the National Digital Memory database. The important information, stored at Foundation of Russian literature and relating to Azerbaijan is transferred to the National Digital Memory, she said.

Then Ayten Khudiyeva, an associate of CSL Department of Protection of the Foundations, made a presentation and stated that, current Foundation stores 67555 books, 13816 journals, 1308 newspapers, 5763 theses and 2942 synopsis of thesis, while Specialty Foundation stores (Foundation specialized in Library Information) 3640 books, Rare Foundation - 8759 arrest of Russian literature.

Speaking on international book exchange with Russia A.Khudiyeva brought to mind relations of Central Scientific Library via the Russian State Library, the Library of Natural Sciences.

Chief of CSL Department of Foundations’ Protection Khuraman Ismailova underlined that, the largest scientific literature in the country is available at the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.
