There is a great need to study the sources in foreign languages which stored at Central Scientific Library

ANAS Central Scientific Library (CSL) held a presentation of the documents included in the foundations of this structure in January.

Director of the library, PhD in medicine Leyla Imanova emphasized that, CSL has done important work in the field of promotion of national values. Informing on the base of the National Digital Memory of CSL, she said that the aim is to collect, organize, digitize, including in an electronic catalog and archiving information related to the history of our country.

L.Imanova reported that, employees of CSL at the virtual encyclopedia "Wikipedia" created pages dedicated toJanuary 20 martyrs and "April fights" as well as a national hero, and noted that at the present time, work is continuing to enrich the accumulated information. She also noted that, in the coming days will be created in the Wikipedia page dedicated to the victims of the Khojaly genocide.

Noting that, in the collections of the library are stored sources in foreign languages, Director of CSL spoke about the need for their research, translation and publication.

The next speaker, head of the Department of International Relations and Public Affairs Mubariz Geyushlu noted that, CSL organized in the last few months the presentation of great interest to the public. He noted that, the activities carried out in the library quickly covered in three languages on the official website of the structure mek.az.

Then, formation of the Department of Aysel Ibrahimli funds made a presentation in connection with the documents (summary of the thesis, books, magazines, etc.) received by the CSL in January.

Then, the employee of Department of forming of fundation Aysel Ibragimli acted with the paper in connection with the documents (the abstract of the thesis, the book, magazines, etc.) which arrived at CSL for January.

It was noted that, in January to CSL were donated 123 books, 185 magazines and compulsory free copies of 177 books, 68 journals, 2 theses and abstracts 3. She briefed the participants included in the structure of books and journel.

Speaking at the event, Chief Consultant of the Baku international center of multiculturalism, PhD Rashad Ilyasov, editor in chief of journal of Azerbaijanis Cooperation Center log, and other Turkic-speaking peoples of the "Birlik" Ilgar Ilkin, PhD in Philology Lutfiya Askerzadeh, chief of Administration of the Azerbaijan Creativity Funding, writer Gismat Rustamov and others highly appreciated the activity of CSL.
