ANAS held a musical lecture dedicated to the outstanding composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli

ANAS within the framework of the joint project of the Scientists’ House and the Baku Music Academy after Uzeyir Hajibeyli "From the music of the temple in the temple of science" was organized musical lecture on "Uzeyir Hajibeyli - an outstanding composer, scholar and personality".

The lecture was attended by prominent figures of culture, art, science, and media representatives.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Scientists’ House, PhD in History Nurida Guliyeva spoke about the importance devoted to the outstanding composer Uzeyir Hajibayli musical lectures and noted that, the main goal is to divide the experience of active in the area of music scholars and enrich knowledge of people interested in this field.

Said that, ANAS organized musical lecture for the first, Nurida Guliyeva stressed that, such events are a symbol of love and respect both to the national music and outstanding composers.

Then was listened a lecture by Professor of the Baku Music Academy Jeyran Mahmudova on "Uzeyir Hajibeyli - an outstanding composer, scholar and personality". She spoke about the life and work of the founder of Azerbaijan professional music, the genius composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli and his invaluable contribution to the national culture.

Speaking at the event, President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh and outstanding pianist of Azerbaijan, Rector of Baku Music Academy after Uzeyir Hajibayov, People's Artist Farhad Badalbeyli noted that, works of genius composer enrich of the Azerbaijani treasury and world music. They also stressed the importance of such musical lectures for the public.

At the conclusion of the event sounded fragments from the works of the outstanding composer performed by students and graduates of the Baku Music Academy.
