Institute of Living Systems Research held a meeting with the staff of Bilasuvar Kindergarten–School–Lyceum Complex named after the National Hero of Azerbaijan - Mubariz Ibrahimov

On March 13, 2026, a meeting took place at the Institute of Living Systems Research of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the staff of the Bilasuvar Kindergarten–School–Lyceum Complex named after the National Hero of Azerbaijan - Mubariz Ibrahimov. Students of the Bilasuvar Kindergarten–School–Lyceum Complex were awarded second place (Silver Medal) for their project titled “Testing the antidote effect of black seed (Nigella sativa) in insecticide poisoning of honey bees”, supervised by the Institute’s researcher Rafiga Gazi at the XV “Sabahin Alimleri” (Scientists of Future) Republican Competition held on March 3–5, 2026. 

During the meeting, Irada Khalilova, PhD in Biology and Associate Professor, Acting Director of the Institute of Living Systems Research, Aladdin Eyvazov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences and Associate Professor, Sara Aliyeva, PhD in Biology and Associate Professor and a researcher Rafiga Gazi were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by Agshin Baghirov, Executive Director of the Bilasuvar Kindergarten–School–Lyceum Complex named after Mubariz Ibrahimov, for their support to the students during the preparation stage of the XV “Scientists of Future” Republican Competition.

Meanwhile, Irada Khalilova presented Honorary Diplomas of the Institute to Agshin Baghirov, Executive Director of the Bilasuvar Kindergarten–School–Lyceum Complex named after Mubariz Ibrahimov;  Vafa Mammadova, a biology teacher; Hamida Pashazade, a 9th-grade student; and Sadagat Dadashzadeh, a 10th-grade student.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views and commemorative photographs.
