Institute of Zoology held an Open House Day

On October 14, 2025, in line with the implementation of the “Action Plan for the Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences” adopted by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an “Open House Day" and a book exhibition were held at the Zoological Museum operating under the Institute of Zoology of MSE RA. 

On Open House Day, residents of the capital and schoolchildren visited the museum. The visitors had the opportunity to become acquainted up close with species from Azerbaijan and around the world exhibited in the museum’s displays, and to learn about their ecological characteristics. Questions posed by the visitors were answered by museum staff.

Finally, the visitors were given leaflets dedicated to the fauna of Azerbaijan.
