Institute of Zoology held the next meeting

The doctoral candidate Laman Bahram gızı Dadashova from the Applied Zoology Center of the Institute of Zoology submitted the preliminary defense of her dissertation titled “Study of the Distribution and Genetic Diversity of Hirudo orientalis in the Water Bodies of the Guba‑Khachmaz and Lankaran‑Astara Regions of Azerbaijan" at the meeting. Her scientific advisors are Associate Professors, Ph.D.s in Biological Sciences Adil Aliyev and Alamdar Mammadov.

At the conclusion of the meeting, considering the scientific and practical significance of the dissertation, it was deemed appropriate to submit Laman Bahram gızı Dadashova’s work, titled “Study of the Distribution and Genetic Diversity of Hirudo orientalis in the Water Bodies of the Quba‑Khachmaz and Lankaran‑Astara Regions of Azerbaijan,” in the specialty 2401.01 – Zoology, for the next stage of scientific review. The dissertation was found to meet the requirements set by the Dissertation Council of the Supreme Attestation of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Biology.
