The preliminary discussion of Gulnara Huseynova’s dissertation carried out

On June 19, 2025, Institute of Zoology of MSE RA held preliminary defense of Gulnara Tahir gizi Huseynova’s dissertation. Researcher Gulnara Huseynova of the Parasitology Laboratory presented her dissertation titled “The Phytohelminth (Nematoda) Biota of the Wheat Plant in the Mughan Plain of Azerbaijan.” Her scientific advisor is Alexander Yuryevich Riss.

At the conclusion of the discussion, considering the scientific and practical significance of her work, it was deemed appropriate to advance her dissertation—titled “The Phytohelminth (Nematoda) Biota of the Wheat Plant in the Mughan Plain of Azerbaijan”—to the next stage of academic review. This decision was made in recognition that it meets the requirements set out by the Dissertation Council under the Presidium of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the specialty 2429.01 – “Parasitology.”
