The next meeting of Scientific Council was held

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held on April 30, 2025, at the Institute of Zoology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was opened by the Institute's Director General, Dr. Agr. Sci. Aladdin Eyvazov, who informed the council members about the implementation of additional measures related to the optimization of activities and enhancement of efficiency of scientific institutions under the Ministry of Science and Education, as per the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 4, 2025.

During the session, the Head of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, PhD in Biology Tavakkul Iskandarov, senior researcher Dr. Tahir Karimov, and Chairman of the First Party Organization of Yasamal District's "504" Neighborhood, PhD in Biology Hafiz Muxtarov, presented reports on the agenda item.

Subsequently, Executive Director Dr. Elshad Ahmadov provided information to the council members about the conference titled "Current Issues of Biodiversity, Modern Perspectives, and Research," scheduled to be organized by the Institute of Zoology on June 17-18, 2025.

The meeting concluded with discussions on other agenda items, and relevant decisions were made accordingly.
