The employees of the Institute of Zoology have conducted an expedition in Shamkir and Samukh districts

From April 21 to 25, 2025, researchers from the Institute of Zoology conducted an expedition in Shamkir and Samukh districts. The team included: Dr. Saleh Aliyev, a leading scientific researcher at the Laboratory of Hydrobiology, PhD of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Konul Tapdigova, and Bilal Mehdizadeh, a doctoral student at the Laboratory of Hydrobiology. During the expedition, samples of zooplankton and macrozoobenthos were collected from the Yenikend and Shamkirchay reservoirs and brought to the laboratory for analysis.
