PhD, Assoc. Prof. Fuad Rzayev, a leading researcher at the Parasitology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of MSERA delivered lectures at the Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University from April 6 to April 12, 2025, as part of the "Visiting Professor" program.
During his visit, Dr. Rzayev conducted a master class titled "Modern Methods of Ultrastructural Research of Biological Objects" during Science Week. He also presented a lecture on "Ultrastructural Features of Changes in Cells Under Stress Conditions" to young scientists and specialists from the Departments of Histology, Microbiology, and Anatomy.
Additionally, Dr. Rzayev engaged in scientific discussions and provided guidance to his PhD student, Altınay Jurqenova. Meanwhile, he held talks with researchers from various departments of the university to collaborate on scientific projects, aiming to publish results in reputable journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, and to develop international research initiatives.
Dr. Rzayev is renowned for his expertise in parasitology and electron microscopy. His research focuses on the ultrastructural study of eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms, the effects of nanoparticles on ecosystems, and the ecological aspects of parasitic helminths. He has authored over 135 scientific publications, including articles in high-impact journals such as the Journal of Molecular Liquids, Neuroscience Letters, and Functional Plant Biology.
