Annual reports of laboratories were listened at the Scientific Council

On October 21, 2024, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the MSE Institute of Zoology was held. General Director of the institute, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov opened the meeting and informed the council members about the partial changes in the composition of the Scientific Council and the issues on the agenda.

Annual reports of Protozoology, Parasitology, Biochemistry of Parasite-Host Relations and Hydrobiology laboratories were listened in the meeting. Head of the Laboratory of Protozoology, corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Alakbarov made a speech on the annual report of  his laboratory, while the head of the Laboratory of Parasitology Dr. Asif Manafov, Executive Director, head of the Laboratory of Biochemistry of Parasite-Host Relations, Ph.D., Assoc. Elshad Ahmadov, and head of Hydrobiology laboratory, Ph.D. Suleyman Suleymanov provided detailed information about the scientific research conducted in the current year, their main results, published scientific works, number of references, staff training, participation of laboratory employees in domestic and foreign scientific events, and activities in the social sphere.

Finally, discussions were held, proposals and relevant decisions were made.
