Corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Alakbarov participated in the international conference

On September 22-28, 2024, the head of the Protozoology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of MSE RA of the Republic of Azerbaijan, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor I.Kh. Alakbarov participated in the conference held in Nalchik (Russia). The outstanding scientist delivered a lecture entitled "Soil infusors of two national parks of Azerbaijan (Shahdagh and Samur-Yalama National Parks)" at the IX All-Russian international conference "Mountain ecosystems and their components" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

During the course of the conference, I. Alakbarov met with the director of the Institute of Mountain Ecology named after A. Tembotov, corresponding member of RAS, famous zoologist Fatimat Tembotova, world-famous therologist, academician V. Bolshakov, expert on snakes common in the Caucasus, professor B. Tuniyev, held discussions on the future plans and possibilities of conducting joint work.
