Employees of MSERA Institute of Zoology participated in the meeting of the Scientific Council held at the Scientific Research Center under the Azerbaijan Medical University

The employees of the "Biochemistry of Parasite-Host Relationships" laboratory of the Institute of Zoology – a senior researcher, Dr., prof. Topchiyeva Shafiga and a senior laboratory assistant Mammadova Sudaba participated in the meeting of the Scientific Council held at the Scientific Research Center operating under the Azerbaijan Medical University, May 23, 2024.  Dr., Professor Shafiga Topchiyeva delivered a lecture on "Pharmacological and toxicological properties of Transcaucasian viper venom" related to the experimental study of the effect of viper venom on blood cells.

At the event, a decision was made to conduct joint research work between the Biochemistry Laboratory of Parasite-Host Relationships of the Institute of Zoology and the Toxicology and Pharmacology Laboratory of the Scientific Research Center of the Azerbaijan Medical University (Laboratory Head Dr. Rena Jafarova).
