The employees of the Hydrobiology Laboratory went on an expedition to the coastal areas

Acting Head of Hydrobiology Laboratory of MSERA Institute of Zoology, Associate Professor Suleyman Suleymanov, leading researcher Saleh Aliyev, senior researcher Nuria Shamionova, junior researchers - Arzu Guliyeva, Nigar Mehdiyeva and Intizar Samadli visited Kuraghzi and Kyzylaghaj water areas of South Caspian, Bandovan and Alat areas.
During the expedition, taking place on 23.05 - 27.05.2023, monitoring works were carried out in the coastal waters of those areas, and samples of hydrobiological, ichthyological and biological cover were collected. The effects of the created environmental conditions on the species composition, number and distribution of hydro and ichthyofauna were studied.
