An employee of the Center of Applied Zoology was on the expedition

On May 10-16, 2023, Rafiqa Gazi, a junior researcher at the Applied Zoology Center of the MSERA Institute of Zoology, went on an expedition to several bee farms located in Jalilabad, Masalli, Yardimli, Lankaran, Lerik and Astara districts of Lankaran-Astara economic region. During the expedition, beehives were inspected, samples were taken from weak and suspicious beehives and brought to the laboratory. Pests of bees, parasitic, fungal (fungus) and viral (virus) diseases will be studied on the received samples.
