Institute of Zoology hosted for a scientific seminar dedicated to "March 27 - Science Day"

On March 2, 2023, a scientific seminar dedicated to "March 27 - Science Day" of MSERA Institute of Zoology was held. The event was attended by scientists and specialists of the mentioned institute, members of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Dendrology Institute, as well as sophomore graduates of the Department of Zoology and Physiology of BSU.

Acting General Director of the Institute of Zoology, who opened the seminar, Ph.D. Aladdin Eyvazov gave the floor to Rafiga Gazi, a junior researcher at the Institute's Applied Zoology Center.

During the speech of the scientist who delivered a lecture on "The cause of the mass deaths of the honey bee (Apis mellifera L.) in Azerbaijan and ways of combating them", infotrmed about the composition, development, division of work of the honey bee and the bee family, the factors that cause deaths in bees, the pests and diseases of the honey bee, especially in recent years, the diseases that caused mass bee deaths in Azerbaijan, as well as fighting ways against these diseases.

After the speaker anresponded the questions addressed to him, the employees of the institute spoke about the topic and expressed their opinions, and extensive discussions were held.
