Institute of Zoology held an event dedicated to the "Victory Day"

The next meeting of the First Party Organization of the Zoology Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education, NAP Yasamal region "504th District area" was dedicated to "Victory Day".

At the beginning of the event, the dear memory of the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence, then, Acting director, PhD in Agricultural sciences, Assoc. Prof. Aladdin Eyvazov greeted the participants. Aladdin Evazov, Commander-in-Chief, specially noted the strength of the army and the unity of the people and spoke his heartfelt words on the occasion of "Victory Day". 

Afterwards,  the floor was given to Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, chairman of NAP Yasamal district organization. Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, emphasizing that the Patriotic War, which lasted for 44 days and resulted in a great victory, was written in golden letters in our military history, spoke about the path of dignity that was taken by the victorious Azerbaijani Army and brave Azerbaijani people  during these difficult, but at the same time, glorious days.

Veterans who participated in the Second Patriotic War, who are the biggest heroes of "Victory Day", were also invited to the event. One of them, Kamran Shafiyev, an employee of the Institute of Zoology, shared his war memories with the participants of the event with a sense of joy. Other veterans - Vusal Abbasov and Mirsaleh Agayev - proudly spoke about their heroism and the difficulties they experienced in the success of the liberation of our lands.

Then Lala Mammadova, a researcher of the Applied Zoology Center, brought to the attention of the event participants the "Big memories in small hearts" project implemented with the support of Azercell and Gid CSR companies. Lala Mammadova, who is both the leader and one of the co-authors of the project, introduced everyone to the book published at the end of the project and provided detailed information about the book compiling the memories of martyrs' children.

Finally, veterans were presented with large portraits made by artist Nijat Mukhtarli and gifts by the administration.
