90 years have passed since the birth of the prominent biologist-scientist

Today is the 90th anniversary of the birth of prominent biologist-scientist, active member of the International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Zulfugar Mustafa oglu Guliyev.

Guliyev Zulfugar Mustafa oglu, a prominent scientist in the field of Zoology and Ichthyology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, originally from Goycha district, was born on June 3, 1932 in Gadabay settlement of Gadabay region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 1951 he entered the Faculty of Biology of the Azerbaijan State University (BSU), in 1956 he graduated with honors and in the same year began his pedagogical activity in Gadabay region. His interest in science during his pedagogical activity motivated him to continue his scientific activity. He entered the postgraduate course on Ichthyology at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS in December 1958 and graduated from under supervision of acad. A.N. Derzhavin he worked on a dissertation on "The biology and condition of the ash stock in the surrounding area of Kura" and in 1963 successfully defended his dissertation. Zulfugar is a talented scientist and a talented young man, so he is hired to work at the institute....
