The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was held on May 26, 2022. Opening the meeting, Aladdin Eyvazov, Acting Director General of the Institute, PhD, Associate Professor, acquainted the members of the council with the issues on the agenda.

At the beginning of the meeting, Giyas Guliyev, Dr. Biology, Associate Professor, was awarded the Honorary Decree of ANAS in connection with his 75th anniversary, the senior researcher of the Parasitology Laboratory, Associate Professor Ali Nasirov on the 70th anniversary. In addition, A. Eyvazov talked about partial changes in the composition of the Scientific Council and solicited for a petition with the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences.

Moreover, at the meeting was the presentation of the monograph of the Dr. Biology, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov on topic “Biochemical and physiological changes in the organism during the application of medicinal plants in combination with chemicals against eimeriosis of domestic chickens (Eimeria tenella)" by Scientific Secretary of the Institute, Ph.D., Associate Professor Sara Aliyeva and the head of the Department of Education, Ph.D. Gulbaniz Nadirova reported on the state of admission to doctoral and dissertation programs in 2022.

At the end of the event, various issues were discussed and relevant proposals were made.
