The doctoral dissertation work in Biology sciences dubbed "Main helminthiases of canidae and felidae in Azerbaijan, GIS mapping of parasitic foci, preparation of control measures" by Reyhan Shohlat gizi Ibrahimova, a leading researcher of the Parasitology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS,  has been discussed at a scientific seminar attached to Dissertation Council. The scientific supervisor of the dissertation is the head of the Laboratory of Parasitology of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Gara Fataliyev.
The event was opened by the senior researcher of the Parasitology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology, chairman of the scientific seminar under the Dissertation Council, Dr. Biology Ali Nasirov, who gave the floor to the applicant. After extensive discussions, the opinion of the scientific seminar was read and brought to the attention of the seminar participants. At the end of the seminar, taking into account the scientific and practical significance of the dissertation, Reyhan Shohlat gizi Ibrahimova's dissertation work "Main helminthiases of canidae and felidae in Azerbaijan, GIS mapping of parasitic foci, preparation of control measures" was noted to be expedient to the requirements for doctoral dissertations put by SAC under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and was considered advisable to submit  to the Dissertation Council.
