Institute of Zoology held a preliminary discussion of the Ph.D. dissertation

Institute of Zoology of ANAS held a preliminary discussion of the PhD dissertation on "Pests of subtropical plants in the Lankaran-Astara region and their entomophagous" on December 27, 2021.

The discussion was attended by the Center for Applied Zoology and laboratories of Terresterial Invertebrates.

The scientific supervisor of the dissertation is the leading researcher of the Laboratory of Terresterial Invertebrates, Ph.D., Associate Professor Ellada Huseynova. The event was opened by the Director of the Center for Applied Zoology of the Institute of Zoology, Ph.D. Barat Ahmadov gave the floor to the applicant. After extensive discussions, taking into account the scientific and practical significance of the dissertation, it was considered that Nazakat Mirsahib gizi Abasova's dissertation entitled "Pests of subtropical plants and their entomophagous in Lankaran-Astara region" in specialty "Entomology" meets the requirements of the doctoral dissertations  of the HAC under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and considered expedient to submit the case to the next stage of scientific discussions.
