The employees of the Institute of Zoology were on the expedition

The leading researchers of the Hydrobiology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, Ph.D. Suleyman Suleymanov and Saleh Aliyev visited the water basins of Lankaran Natural Region and the Gizilaghaj water area of the Caspian Sea on 27.09-01.10.2021 to study the current state of rare and few hydrobionts in Azerbaijan. During the expedition, scientists have collected quantitative and qualitative samples of zoobenthos and materials related to ichthyofauna from the Gizilaghaj water area and Lankaranchay in accordance with the research plan and brought them to the laboratory for research.
