An employee of the Institute of Zoology participated in an online international congress

On September 10-12, 2021, the 1st International Congress of Natural Sciences was held at Ataturk University in Turkey. The leading researcher of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, Ph.D., Associate Professor Tavakkul Isgandarov was also invited to the congress. On September 10, he delivered a lecture at the congress on "SPECİES DIVERSITY AND DISTRIBUTION OF SERPENTES: VIPERIDAE: VIPERA IN AZERBAIJAN." The lecture provides detailed information on the species of wild vipers widespread in Azerbaijan, their taxonomy and distribution, modern habitat.
