The next meeting of the Problem Council on Biological, Agrarian and Medical sciences

The next online meeting of the Problem Council on Biological, Agrarian and Medical Sciences of the Coordination Council for Scientific Research of the Republic of Azerbaijan was carried out.
Opening the meeting, Irada Huseynova, vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the Problem Council, academician, informed the participants about the agenda of the meeting. She noted that all work was done to carefully consider the topics of research work and make the necessary decisions, the work of the relevant sections was organized at a high level, close ties were established with the organizations, where the dissertations were performed.
Then, Dilzara Agayeva, scientific secretary of the Problem Council, head of the Mycology Laboratory of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, Doctor of Biological sciences, Associate Professor stated that 31 works (15 on biology, 8 on agrarian sciences, 8 on medicine) were discussed for approval of dissertation topics.
Then D.Agayeva, Deputy Chairman of the Problem Council for Biological Sciences, Head of the Soil Reclamation Laboratory of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS, Doctor of Agrarian Sciences Mustafa Mustafayev, Associate Professor of the II Department of Surgical Diseases of Azerbaijan Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Rasim Jafarli presented dissertation topics on medicine.
The discussion managed by acad. Irada Huseynova were attended by Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, Head of the First Department of Surgical Diseases of Azerbaijan Medical University, corresponding member of ANAS Nuru Bayramov, Head of the Bioinformatics Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Shahmuradov, Director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Prevention named after V.Y. Akhundov of the TABIB, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Adil Allahverdiyev, Head of the Department of Histology, Embryology, Cytology of the Azerbaijan Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Eldar Gasimov, Head of the Laboratory of Ethnobotany of the Institute of Botany, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, Head of the Laboratory of Trees and Shrubs of the Central Botanical Garden, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Elman Iskandar, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Zoology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov, employee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences Javanshir Talai, Head of the Department of Fruit Plants of the Institute of Genetic Resources, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor Mirza Musayev and others.
15 research works on Biology, 6 on Agrarian sciences, 7 on Medicine were positively evaluated and submitted, other topics were returned for reconsideration.
