The next meeting of the Zoological Section on Biological Problems of the Republican Council for Coordination of Scientific Research of ANAS

On June 2, 2021, the next meeting of the Zoological Section on Biological Problems of the Republican Scientific Research Coordination Council of ANAS was held. The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Zoological Section, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Saleh Maharramov, who informed the participants about the issues on the agenda. Then, six doctoral and five doctoral dissertations submitted to the Zoological Section were discussed at the meeting.
During the discussions, Acting Director of the institute, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences A. Eyvazov, Deputy Director for Science Dr. Biology E. Ahmadov, corresponding member of ANAS I. Alakbarov, Dr. Biology, Professor Sh. Ibrahimov, Doctors of Biological Sciences - G.Guliyev, A.Manafov, G.Fataliyev, and others shared opinions.
After extensive discussions, the names of nine topics were partially changed, while the previous name of one topic was retained. Meanwhile, it was recommended to revise the name of one topic on the preparation of the Doctor of Philosophy, as it is controversial.
