Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology held a next meeting

The next online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was held on April 13. Opening the meeting, which was organized online on the Zoom platform, Aladdin Eyvazov, acting director of the institute, acquainted the council members with the issues on the agenda. In advance, the director congratulated the scientist on the 70th anniversary of Shafiga Topchiyeva, a senior researcher of the Center for Applied Zoology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, and wished her a long and healthy life. Shafiga Topchiyeva was awarded the Honorary Decree of the institute for many years of fruitful scientific activity.
Afterward, republishing of the journal "Scientific works of the Institute", preparation of the Azerbaijan Fauna National Information System, inventory of the collection, presenting to the publication of a new monograph by Ph.D. in Biology, Associate Professor Reyhan Ibrahimova, the results of the entrance exam to doctoranture and dissertanture for PhD training in 2020/2021 academic year and other issues on the agenda were discussed and certain decisions were made.
