An online meeting was held with the heads of the Education Departments of the scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS

On December 30, a meeting was organized by the Department of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS with the heads of the Education Departments of the scientific institutions and organizations of the Academy.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the organization of the educational process in the master's program of ANAS, preparations for the winter exam session and the next spring semester, as well as admission to doctoral studies and doctoral exams.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Science and Education, Ph.D in Economics Fail Kazimov, Deputy Head of the Department, Ph.D in Engineering, Associate Professor Huseyn Huseynov, Head of the Department of Doctoranture and Dissertanture, Ph.D in Chemistry Omar Gulalov and Head of the Department of Master's, Doctor of Philology Karimulla Mammadzadeh.

Opening the online meeting, the head department F.Kazimov congratulated the participants on the glorious victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. He introduced Karimulla Mammadzadeh, who was appointed as the head of the Master's Department of the Department of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS, to the participants of the meeting.

F.Kazimov discussed a number of issues related to the current state of the educational process at ANAS, in particular, the compliance of curricula, educational infrastructure with the requirements of the adopted state educational standards and other normative legal acts, the existing shortcomings in this direction and their proposals and recommendations. Then, the head department recommended to implement the issues arising from the order of the President of ANAS "On holding the winter exam session for master’s students of ANAS" in accordance with the instructions and rules and timely execution of the given tasks.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Head of the Department H. Huseynov spoke about the problems in the organization of training and exams in connection with the current pandemic period and gave instructions and recommendations on the optimal solution in accordance with the current situation.

K.Mammadzadeh, the head of the Master's Department, expressed his views on the teaching process, organization of exams, achievement of more effective results in education, assessment of the current situation and solution of problems using alternative means.

Then, Head of the Doctoranture and Dissertanture Department O.Gulalov said that the submission of documents for doctoral and dissertanture studies of ANAS for 2020 was successfully completed and informed about the work to be carried out at the next stage, as well as a number of important points related to doctoral exams.

Finally, issues related to the next academic year and the winter exam session were discussed, and questions addressed by the heads of education departments were responded by the employees of the department.
