Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology carried out the last meeting of the year
On December 28, 2020, the last meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS for the current year was held. Opening the meeting on the Zoom platform, acting director of the institute, Ph.D in Agrarian Sciences Aladdin Eyvazov greeted the staff and informed the council members about the issues on the agenda.
Then the plan of scientific research for 2021-2025 was widely discussed, proposals were listened. It should be noted that the occupation of Karabakh, an integral part of Azerbaijan, for about 30 years, has left the fauna of these areas, as well as other areas, out of scientific research. According to the plan, a comprehensive study of the fauna in the liberated territories over the next five years, as well as other scientific research work related to the implementation of state programs will be taken into account.
Summing up, it was solicited for Scientific Council of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences on approval of the plan of scientific research work of the institute for 2021-2025.
