On August 4, an international online conference on the topic: "The coronavirus pandemic: from scientific research to ensuring a healthy future" continues its work in ANAS.

Opening the plenary session with an introductory speech, Vice-President of ANAS, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences (DBMS), academician Irada Huseynova greeted the participants of the event on behalf of the First Vice-President of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev and wished them success in the conference. She said that on the first day of the conference, fundamental reports on various problems of COVID-19 were presented at the plenary and breakout sessions.

Then the conference moderator, Director of the Institute of Physiology of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Ulduz Hashimova spoke, emphasizing that informative reports will be presented today.
