The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held

On January 28, 2020 the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was held. Opening the meeting, Acting Director of the Institute of Zoology, Doctor of Biological Sciences Elshad Ahmadov introduced the participants to the agenda. There were extensive discussions at the meeting on the approval of the new composition of the Scientific Council, the establishment of the Working Group in connection with the 3rd edition of the Red Book of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the stages of scientific research work for 2020, the results of admission to the dissertation for 2019/2020 and other issues and certain decisions were made.

During the meeting, also, Ph.D in Biology Naila Isgandarova, Doctor of Biological Sciences Shafiga Topchiyeva, Doctor of Biological Sciences. Gulzar Mustafayeva and Ph.D in Biology. Reyhan Ibrahimova was presented the Honorary Decree of the Institute of Zoology for her long-term scientific work at the Institute.
