A complex expedition will be held to the Zira (Bulla) island

According to the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, a four-day scientific expedition will be organized on 22-25 May, 2019 in the Caspian Sea on the complex study of the nature of the islands of Baku and Absheron Archipelago.

The expedition that will be conducted by the Institute of Zoology, Geography Institute, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Institute of Oil and Gas and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, together with the staff of the Institute of Biological Diversity, is dedicated to the complex study of the nature of the Khara-Zira island (flora-fauna, landscape, volcanism, relief, soil cover, etc.).
