On 1 June , 2016, 7th grade pupils of the russian sector of secondary schools 189-190 (Baku city) have visited to the Institute of Zoology along with the head teacher Adil Jafarov.

On 1 June , 2016, 7th grade pupils of the russian sector of secondary schools 189-190 (Baku city) have visited to the Institute of Zoology along with the head teacher Adil Jafarov. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with work of research, which was conducted at the Institute of Zoology, to get to know fauna of Azerbaijan. For this purpose, the chief of the Zoological Museum, PhD in Biology, Sabina Bunyatova has given detailed information about exhibits, which are located in museum fund, related to the fauna of the world, as well as Azerbaijan. Then junior scientific worker of the laboratory "Protistology", Sariyya Gasimova has given detailed information about  working principles of Scan microscope and researched single-cell organisms. Doctoral student of this laboratory, Turkan Gurbanova has showed intestinal unicellular parasite drugs to pupils through an electron microscope. Junior scientific worker of the laboratory of "Theriology", as well as the worker of the World Wildlife Fund, Sevinj Sarukhanova has shown her presentation on fund projects in Azerbaijan, measures conducted in the direction of spreading, lifestyle, protection of leopard to pupils. In conclusion, the book, called "Leopard, which wants to live in freedom" has been presented to pupils.
