The participants of the tour “We learn our country” visited the Institute of Dendrology

Students of secondary schools of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the framework of the tour-action under the slogan “We learn our country” visited ANAS Institute of Dendrology.

The guests were met by by officials of the Executive Power of Khazar district and and employees of the institute. Gulbala Gurbanov, head of the Department of the Executive Power of Khazar district noted the importance of holding such actions for education of pupils and expansion of their outlook.

Then, students were informed about the history of the institute and a prominent philanthropist, the oil millionaire Murtuza Muhtarov. In conclusion, the guests were informed on 1,800 species of plants and trees, greenhouses that meet modern standards, cultural and ornamental plants, and collections of the foundation.
