ANAS Institute of Genetic Resources will collaborate with the Research Institute for Lung Disease

ANAS Institute of Genetic Resources (IGR) and the Research Institute for Lung Diseases of the Ministry of Health was signed a cooperation agreement.

The five-year document provides for the study of tuberculosis and lung diseases, as well as non-communicable diseases, the timely identification of risk groups for diseases, the identification of mutations, their impact on the course of the disease, and joint work will be carried out in the development of treatment methods and application in clinical practice . In addition, according to the contract, joint conferences and research works will be organized.

The agreement was signed by the Director of the IGR, corresponding member of ANAS Zeynal Akparov and Director of the Research Institute of Lung Diseases, Professor Hagigat Gadirova.
