The next meeting of the scientific seminar of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was held on February 28, 2019. A report of scientific worker of the Protozoology Laboratory Elyana Tahirova on "Recommendations on how to write articles in international scientific journals and characteristics of "predatory" magazines" was listened at the meeting. It was noted that some "predatory magazines" appeared in recent years, which deceive world scientists and master their money and the importance of researchers in this issue and the importance of publishing their articles in well-known magazines was emphasized in the seminar. Information on the proper compilation of articles, as well as the selection of influential magazines was also brought to the attention of the meeting members
