It was the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was held on February 8, 2019. Director of the Institute, Ph.D. Elman Yusifov gave detailed information the members of the board on the issues on the agenda and on the approval of the work plan for the first half of 2019.

Later, ideas put forward about the approval of individual work plans and stages of scientific research work of Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, PhD in biology Elshad Akhmedov on 2019, about suggestions and several affairs for optimization of improvement and management of the structure of laboratories at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS. Suggestions were heard on the themes, discussions were held, and decisions were made.

Another issue on the agenda was the 50th anniversary of Professor of ANAS, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, PhD in Biology Elshad Ahmedov and the 70th anniversary of Akif Gadirov, Head of Agsu Support Practice Station of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS. Thus, both employees were awarded Honorary decrees and gifts by the Institute of Zoology of ANAS and the Free Trade Union of ANAS, and they were wished successes in their life and creativity.
