The general meeting of the Academy has been held at the main building of ANAS, on Аpril 29.
Head of Administration of the President of Azerbaijan, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, Doctor of Philology Elchin Afandiyev, The state adviser of Azerbaijan Republic on the issues of International, multiculturalism, religious affairs, academician Kamal Abdulla, Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics Fatma Abdullazadeh, Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov, Chair of Board of Directors at the State Examination Center Maleyka Abbaszadeh, the rector of the Baku branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, corresponding member of ANAS Nargiz Pashayeva, heads of various government agencies, officials, actual and corresponding members of ANAS, directors of institutes and organizations, representatives of the media has been participated in the event.
Before the event, participants were acquainted with the exhibition reflecting scientific achievements of ANAS institutes and organizations. At ANAS works to the implementation towards “National Strategy for Development of Science in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2009-2015” and "State Program on the Implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Science in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009-2015", implemented projects have been rouse interest by participants.
