The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was held on October 30, 2018. Director of the Institute Elman Yusifov acquainted the members with the issues on the agenda. Partial changes have been made in the structure of the Scientific Council, suggestions were made by associate professor, Shafiga Topchiyeva and Associate Professor Yegana Mahmudova as part of the Scientific Council. At the same time the results of attestation of scientific workers, doctoral and dissertants have been confirmed at the Institute of Zoology. Then the candidacy of Narmin Beydizade was nominated for the "Presidential Award for Ganja". The dates of the reports on the scientific-organizational activities of the Institute for 2018 were also determined at the meeting. Finally, discussions were held on various issues on the agenda.
