The next scientific seminar of the Institute has been held

Junior scientific worker of the Institute of Zoology of the Laboratory Protistology, Turkan Gurbanova's report of the dissertation work for the degree of PhD in Biology on "The role of rodents in spreading of human's opportunistic disease-causing agents Coccidia (Apicomplexa, Cocidia) in urbanizing ecosystems" has been heard. 320 rodents belonging to 11 species have been researched by junior scientific worker. 90 individuals of them have been infected with oocysts kind of Criptosporidum.

Scientific supervisor of this work is the Doctor of Biological Sciences H.D.Gaibova, reviewers are  Dr.Biol.Sci M.A.Huseynov, Ph.D. in Biology Y.A.Mahmudov.
