The establishment of the "Day of Science" is evidence of great attention and care

"The order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the establishment of "Day of Science" is a testament to the great attention and care" said the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Akif Alizadeh at the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS on April 18. Academician stressed that, according to this Order, every year on March 27 will be celebrated in the Republic of Azerbaijan as the "Day of Science".

Head of ANAS said that this Order, signed by AR President Ilham Aliyev, taking into account the importance of science in the development of society, is an integral part of scientific policy. In the course of large-scale reforms and scientific policy conducted by the head of state, the Academy has made great strides. The establishment of this historic day puts even more serious tasks for ANAS.
