A chip that improves memory

Scientists at the University of Southern California have successfully succeeded in implanting the memory chip to the human brain. The Pentagon-funded research has been published in the Journal of Neural Engineering.

Yugopolis.ru informs that, the new research is "catching up" the human brain's impulses when it comes to storing information specifically designed by scientists. After that, the chip strengthens those impulses, helping to improve the memory performance by forcing the brain to replay.
