Azerbaijani scientist elected a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences

The next meeting of the Azerbaijan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) was chaired by the Vice President of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev. Vice-president of RANS, academician Azizaga Shahverdiyev, correspondent members of ANAS Tulparhan Salavatov, Geylani Panahov, Gurban Yetirmishli and others attended the event.

The meeting discussed the prospects of scientific cooperation between the institutions, and determined the directions of these relations.

Emphasizing the importance of developing interstate science relations, Academician I.Guliyev said that the RANS’s Scientific Center, established on 13 November 2014 by the initiative of the ANAS and RANS leadership, to establish links between the two institutions in the field of technology and education and the expansion of applied research, the involvement of young scientists in research on modern scientific disciplines.
