Central Scientific Library opens an exhibition dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide

An exhibition devoted to the 26th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide opened at the Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The exhibition salon of the Central Library of the Russian Federation presents photographs and books in different languages about the facts of the tragedy in Khojaly. There are books about the genocide in Khojaly, stored in the library's funds: Khojaly - genocide of the twentieth century, Calendar of Azerbaijani genocides, Genocide, Khojaly genocide by martyrs, Aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and world politics, Deportation Azerbaijani Turks from Armenia","Realities of terrorism","Calendar of Azerbaijani tragedies","Garabagh","Armenians and realities","Garabagh genocide: doomed Khojaly", etc.

The exhibition also contains information from the State Commission of Azerbaijan on POWs, Hostages and Missing Citizens on the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict on February 22, 2018. In addition, the exhibition found information about the Khojaly genocide placed in local and world media.

The exhibition will continue until May 31.

Note that, the literature on the Khojaly tragedy, stored in the funds of the Central Scientific Library, is included in the database of the National Digital Memory. And information about the victims of the tragedy is placed in the category "Lists" of the NSC base, which also contains data on the victims of "January 20", April fights and National heroes of Azerbaijan. This information is also included in Wikipedia.

It should be reminded that, the purpose of the National Digital Memory project is the collection, systematization, digitization and filing into the electronic catalog, archiving and provision of information about the ancient culture, history and contribution of Azerbaijan to the development of mankind, stored in our country and abroad for use to local and foreign readers.
