An employee of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was on a business trip to the Justus Liebig University in Germany

Konul Tagiyeva, performing a position of the Head of the International Relations Department of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, was on business trip to Justus Liebig University Giessen (Giuseppe University), Germany, on January 20, 2018, with the support of PRİDE within the framework of the European Union Horizon 2020. She made the DNA insulation and PCR analysis of the crater collected from the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea and Astrakhan, as well as internal waters of the country, and prepared samples for the next stages at the University's Water Animals Ecology and Systematics Institute. K.Tagiyeva also listened to lectures on the theme of "Fundamentals of phylogenetics", "Structural adjustment", "Phylogenetic trees", "Tree reconstruction and molecular clocks" by Professor Thomas Wilke, and told about future joint projects with the Institute of Zoology took.
