Regional Experimental and Resource Center for and environmentally friendly farming to cooperate with Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association

The IV International Conference of Beekeepers was held on 3-4 February in Baku.

Representatives from Turkey, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia, as well as local experts, as well as employees of the Regional Experimental and Resource Center for and environmentally friendly farming of the Institute of Botany of ANAS attended the event, organized by the Professional Beekeepers Association.

At the conference were informed about ecologically clean agriculture, ecological beekeeping, transitional provisions and rules, discussions on standards and certification issues.

Within the framework of the event, an Agreement on Cooperation between the Regional Experimental and Resource Center for and environmentally friendly farming and the Association of Beekeepers of Azerbaijan was signed. This document will make a great contribution to the development of beekeeping both in the ANAS and in the country as a whole, and will stimulate the transition to ecological beekeeping.
