Employee of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS attended the event organized by Azerbaijan Association of Pomegranate Producers and Exporters

Baku Business Center hosted a meeting of report and information character on the pomegranate production and export in Azerbaijan in 2017 by the Association of Pomegranate Producers and Exporters (ANIIA) on January 25, 2018. Chairman of ANIIA, Farhad Garashov and President of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Rufat Mammadov were closely acquainted with the problems of narcotics. Along with representatives of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, Ministry of Agriculture and entrepreneurs invited to the event, Gulnar Gahramanova, a researcher of the Institute of Zoology, a researcher at the Applied Zoology Center. Our employee has focused attention on the issue of the preferences of entrepreneurs dealing with the production and export of agricultural products, especially pomegranate. G. Gahramanova informed local specialists about the soil and climatic conditions of Azerbaijan, vegetation cover, local varieties, types of pests, etc. and justified her position by emphasizing that she had more accurate and detailed information about it. The President of AZPROMO supported the issue raised by our staff and invited entrepreneurs to contact local experts and academics and take advantage of their experience.
